When I First Saw You

WIFSY is currently on hold.

What is When I First Saw You? How does it work?
When I First Saw You, or WIFSY for short, is a monthly meme here on Sailing Through Books that consists of sharing a first impressions of a book in the form of a synopsis, so basically judging a book by it's cover yes.

Every month, a set of four (4) covers is chosen and shared here at the bottom of the page. You write a synopsis for the book that inspires you the most with the cover and title as your only guide. Then, you compare it to the real synopsis and laugh at how off you were or congratulate yourself on your amazing deduction skills!
WIFSY happens on the second Thursday of each month and there is a link-up in every post for you to share your made-up synopsis.

I host giveaways!
I host seasonal WIFSY giveaways in which you have a chance to win any book that was featured in WIFSY during said season. I try to make this opportunity available to as many people as possible, but please make sure to read each giveaway's rules to make sure you are eligible. Participants must be 13 years of age or older, or have a guardian's permission.

How are the covers chosen?
Every cover are chosen by moi. I pick upcoming books that aren't too popular yet. In doing so, it increases the chances that you will not have heard of these books and it helps people discover some amazing upcoming releases!

*I ask that you link your post back to Sailing Through Books please and thank you!
**WIFSY is meant to be a fun activity so let your imagination go wild!

Upcoming WIFSY
*please note that these might not be the final covers but they are the ones that will be use for WIFSY.

It may help to provide the novel genre too, just so we (ahem.. people like me) aren't completely left field. No worries either way :) <3

I actually thought about doing that, but decided that it would limit some people's creativity. When first looking at a cover, I know I'm left with a huge blank. But once YOU decide on the genre you want your synopsis to be, the rest falls into place ;)
Ooooo this looks SUPER fun! Question- Are all of these four books going to be on September 8th, or do I pick just one? XD I'd really love to join in!

Aww yay! I'm so glad somebody else thinks this looks fun!^^
You pick one of the covers and write a synopsis based on the cover and title only! :D
I'm looking forward to reading what you come up with!
Hello again! Are you doing a WIFSY for December? I just realized it was probably about time and I was curious. :-)

My recent post YOU HAVE TO READ THIS AMAZING BOOK.
nice
Wao. You just have to judge the book by its cover and title name, its sounds cool. I have already decided the book on which I will write Best creative writing services. Everybody wants to share his ideas through this page. In this way you can enhance your writing skills and come to know how much your synopsis can relate to the real one.
I read this last week and been waiting for Thursday to post mine - one quick question though , I pick any of the above or there are specific ones?
Okay so I picked one and heres my version - https://nmlifeinwords.wordpress.com/2016/10/20/wi...
